Top 10 of 2019: OTP

Hey Guys,
Welcome to the fifth day of Top 10 of 2019. Today's topic is OTP, i.e. favourite couples from the books that we've read this year. This took me so long to narrow down but here we are my favourite bookish couples.

10. Caden and Brighton from The King (Wicked #3.6) by Jennifer L Armentrout

Naturally, I had to have some characters from Jennifer L Armentrout's books on here and I just had to include Caden and Brighton. I love how Caden has gone from the villain of this series to being people's favourite book boyfriends and I think only a talented author can do so. I love this novella series and I think Caden and Brighton are so perfect for each other and so they had to be included on this list.

9. Dara and Nahri from The City of Brass (Daevebad #1) by SA Chakraborty

This is probably going to be a bit of a controversial one for other lovers of this series as I don't think that many people love Dara with Nahri. Honestly after reading the second book my opinions regarding this couple changed but in this particular instalment of the series I loved the relationship between Dara and Nahri and so they just had to feature of this list.

8. Ezra and Kady from Illuminae (The Illuminae Files #1) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

I absolutely adored the relationship between Ezra and Kady in this book. It was incredibly developed throughout this book, especially considering that they are in seperate locations throughout the entire book. I loved every second of this story and the fact that they both cared more about the safety of the other rather than themselves. I can't wait to see more of them in the other two books of this series that I still have yet to read.

7. Kal and Aurora from Aurora Rising (Aurora Cycle #1) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

I absolutely loved the relationship in Aurora Rising as it was completely unexpected. I was expecting Aurora to fall of the popular hero of the book so to see this relationship stemming between her and one of the misfits and the one who seemed to angry at everyone... I loved that and I honestly caannot wait to read more from Kal in book 2 when it releases next year.

6. Billy and Arsinoe from Five Dark Fates (Three Dark Crowns #4) by Kendare Blake

There was lots of relationships in this book that I could have chosen for this list as I loved many of the characters and couples in this series. I decided to go with Billy and Arsinoe as they've been some of my favourite characters right from the start. Even when Arsinoe changed and discovered her true power his love for her didn't waver and he was always there to help and protect her. I loved them and for me, in this series, they were always endgame.

5. Vincent and Evie from On The Other Side by Carrie Hope Fletcher

On the Other Side was one of the most beautifully emotional books that I read and that was down to the incredible romance between Vincent and Evie. I honestly couldn't think of a most beautiful example of true love and going through this book made me fall head over heels in love with Vincent and every moment of their romance. It was perfection for any hopeless romantic.

4. Rhen and Harper from A Curse So Dark and Lonely (Cursebreakers #1) by Brigid Kemmerer

Of course Rhen and Harper had to feature of this list somewhere. I loved A Curse So Dark and Lonely and although I had instant love for Grey I love Rhen and Harper as a couple. I love how it wasn't just insta-love and that Harper is kick-ass and Rhen falls in love with her while she is helping save his life and kingdom.

3. Sebastian and Celine from The Beautiful (The Beautiful #1) by Renee Ahdieh

The Beautiful was one of my all time favourite books this year and I just loved the mysterious romance that developed throughout this book. It was dark and seductive and I loved every single moment of it.

2. Grey and Lia-Mara from A Heart so Fierce and Broken (Cursebreakers #2) by Brigid Kemmerer

I may be slightly cheating here as this book isn't even released yet but I have already read this one so I'm including it anyway. I loved the relationship between Grey and Lia-Mara. It was beautiful and perfect. I don't want to say much else due to spoilers but they were definitely one of my all time favourite couples.

1. Luc and Evie from The Burning Shadow (Origin #2) by Jennifer L Armentrout

The relationship between Luc and Evie is so beautiful and perfect. It is 100% true love and although Luc wants to protect Evie at all costs he includes her in almost every major decision and in this book brings her along to the action and the danger. It made me love him, and them as a couple, even more.

Who were your favourite couples?
