They open a door and enter a world.

NARNIA... the land beyond the wardrobe, the secret country known only to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy... the place where the adventure begins.

Lucy is the first to find the secret of the wardrobe in the professor's mysterious old house. At first, no one believes her when she tells of her adventures in the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the Magic and meet Aslan, the Great Lion, for themselves. In the blink of an eye, their lives are changed forever.
"Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia."

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is my absolute favourite childhood book. I remember my Mum reading me this over and over again when I was a kid. I was so excited to pick this back up as an adult and I couldn't wait to see what my thoughts were. I loved reading this book. It was so nostalgic for me to come back to this one after so many years and I really enjoyed it.

I pretty much knew every word of this book. I knew every part of the story and how it happened. I loved reading it again and I fell in love with this world and the characters all over again. And yet again I was left really sad that I can't reach Narnia through my own wardrobe. It's the one thing I've always wanted.

Is this book the best wrote book in the world? No, not even close. But I absolutely loved it anyway. I've never read any of the books past this one so I can't wait to continue through these adventures in Narnia. If you're a lover of children's books and wonderful adventures you should definitely read this series.

"If ever they remembered their life in this world it was as one would remember a dream."
