But when a tragedy strikes her other family, Sera needs justice. And the only way to get it is to reveal her heritage–including a rare Skill–and take the reins of the Tower Syndicate from her cunning and malicious aunt.

If he can figure out how...

Kristopher Daniels might have the answer. He's fought the syndicate to protect his sisters, but he'd never realized just how close to the new heir he needed to get....

And if they can survive

Neither is used to trusting. But there's something between them that can't be ignored. And so Sera is on the run with a man she can't figure out, a target on her back and the new knowledge of just how powerful she really is....

Oath Bound is one of those books that has been sat on my shelf for forever. I read the first book in the series, Blood Bound, when it first released back in 2011 and I absolutely loved it. I don't know what took me so long to finally pick up the final book in this trilogy but I finally decided to finish it as part of my 2020 Series Catch Up Challenge.

At first I found Oath Bound a bit slow to get into. I don't think it was anything to do with the book itself, more to do with the fact that I had a 8-year break between reading the previous book and then picking up this one. Once everything started coming back to me and I could remember more from the previous books, I couldn't put it down. It was filled to the brim with mystery, drama, action and romance. What more could I possibly want from a book?

As each book in the series is about different characters I worried that this wouldn't necessarily feel like a series ending. I thought it would be a good ending for the current couple, as expected from Rachel Vincent, but I needn't have worried. This was the perfect ending to the whole series. One thing I've loved about this series is that although you're reading about the current couple, all the characters are related in some way so you still get to see what's happening with the characters you fell in love with in previous books as well.

Oath Bound was a fantastic ending to such a great series. This is definitely one of those series you could read over and over and never get bored of. It's definitely gone on the shelf of series I will re-read. If you're a lover of urban fantasy and romance then I highly recommend this series. It's such a great read and I will definitely be picking up more of Rachel Vincent's work in the future.
