Hey Guys,
I am so excited to be a part of the official blog tour for Wicked, the newest release from author extraordinaire Jennifer L Armentrout.

~ About The Book ~

Wicked (Wicked Trilogy #1)
Jennifer L Armentrout

Genre: NA - Paranormal Romance

Things are about to get Wicked in New Orleans.

From Goodreads:
Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.

Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

WICKED Order:

 ~ Author Interview ~

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for joining us today and can I just say it is such an honour to have you back on K-Books.

Your new NA Paranormal novel Wicked has just been released into the world. How do you feel about finally having it out in the readers hands?

I’m excited for readers to meet Ivy and Ren because I loved writing both characters. I think Ivy is one of my favorite female characters that I’ve written so far.

So tell me where did the idea for Wicked come from?

It’s loosely based on a dream that I had one night. Of course, I’ve made some changes and expanded on it, but that’s where I got the initial idea for the story.

What made you write about the fae?

I thought writing about the fae would be something different for me. I love writing paranormal books because there really isn’t a limit on where I can take the story when I’m writing about mythological creatures.

Tell us more about The Order.

The Order is a widespread organization that exists to keep fae out of the mortal realm. Members of the Order have a duty to make sure that any fae who are found in the mortal realm are sent back to the Otherworld or killed. Ivy, as a member of the Order, likes to think of herself as one badass ninja. That’s an accurate description of the members of the Order.

Where did you get your inspiration for Ivy and Ren from?

My initial idea came from my dream, but both characters evolved as I started writing Wicked. I knew that I wanted Ivy to be a strong, tough female character, but I also wanted there to be a deeper complexity about her. I wanted Ren to be a hot, swoon-worthy guy with a charming directness about him.

Now I have to say my favourite character in Wicked, and may well be my favourite character of all time, is Tink. What made you write Tink into Wicked?

Ivy is a character who has lost a lot and she’d been alone for a while, I wanted her to have someone or something that wasn’t in the Order that mattered to her. I also really wanted to write about a brownie and Tink seemed like he would be a good fit for Ivy and the story.

So where did the idea for the Wicked cover come from?

I love underwater photo shoots, so I’ve always wanted a cover where the models are underwater. Wicked was the perfect book for an underwater cover because there’s a tie in with Ivy and her feelings in the book.

You have so many books that come out so close together. How do you manage to write them all so fast? Are you a writing machine?

I wouldn’t consider myself a writing machine, but I do write every day, usually even on holidays. Not to say that I don’t procrastinate throughout the day, but I do try to sit down and write.

And finally, what can we expect from you in the very near future?

I’m currently writing Every Last Breath, the third book in the Dark Elements Series. My next release is The Return, another NA Paranormal, which features Seth from the Covenant Series.

Thanks so much for joining us on K-Books today. It was such a pleasure to have you and the best of look with your upcoming releases.
