Top 10 Breakthrough Authors of 2012

So I know what you're thinking Top 10 of 2012 is over and yes it is. BUT every year on New Years Eve I always do a Top 10 Breakthrough Authors of 2012 and these are authors that were new to me this year (not only debut authors) who genuinelly blew me away not only by their books, though that is a BIG part of it, but also by being just awesome in the way they interact with fans and everything.

My Breakthrough Author last year was none other than the epically talented Jennifer L Armentrout... can you guess who got the spot this year?

Please Note: The series/book I am adding under the authors name is the one that I read which made them appear on this Top 10 list.

10. Nicole Williams

Author of The Crash Series.

This year I accidentally stumbled across a book called Crash. Okay... actually I saw it on my good friend Momo's blog, Books Over Boys, and I immediately wanted to read it. Crash was just... WOW! I could not believe how amazing that book was I was just completely enraptured and blown away right from the very first page. Nicole Williams is an extraordinary author and I definitely going to be reading the rest of her books. I just freaking love her and I am so happy that the Crash Series has been picked up by HarperCollins Publishing and the paperbacks for the first two are now available. I loved Crash and have yet to read Clash but will definitely be buying the paperbacks. I just adore Nicole's writing style and any contemporary fans just have got to read her Crash series. It is epically good.

9. M. Leighton

Author of The Bad Boys Series.

Down To You by Michelle Leighton is a book I had heard so much about and after talking with my girl Tara from Tater's Tall Tales I picked this up on my kindle. Oh. My. Freaking. God! I seriously cannot praise this book enough. I was completely blown away by it. It's just so epically good. It totally took my breath away. It has to be one of the best Contemporary books I have ever read in my life and I already just want to re-read it and I am counting down till the release of book 2, Up To You. I just need it in my hands right now. M. Leighton is a phenomenal author who is new to me and I just can't wait to go back and read all of her other books. I have been turned into such a massive fan and she is just so incredibly awesome at how she interacts with her fans on twitter too. As soon as she knew I was reading her book she instantly wanted updates on my thoughts and even sent me an excited tweet saying "You're reading. You're reading." When I started. I just love when authors interact with their fans like that so she instantly earned a spot on my Top 10 Breakthrough Authors just for being incredibly awesome!

8. Heather Self

Author of The Portal Trilogy.

I've been friends with Heather Self for the majority of the year and it wasn't until I saw a feature on Stuck In Books on Heather's book that I knew she was an author. I know right, being friends and not even knowing... you don't have to say it... I suck! Anyway as soon as I found out she was an author I instantly went and picked up The One and was freaking blown away. It's epic! And it's about dragons. Having only read one dragon book previously I was instantly hooked just because it was about dragons but the more I read the more I fell in love with Heather's writing style. There were twists and turns I never could have imagined being in there and I was just sat on the edge of my seat dying to know what was going to happen. I just adored everything about The One. Heather is one of my closest bookish friends and she is just so awesome and I absolutely love her to bits so she just had to be on my Breakthrough Authors list. I was so very lucky to beta read the novella for The Portal Trilogy and it was just incredible and I just hope Heather sees this and knows how much I appreciate her letting me beta for her when she is fast becoming one of my favourite authors ever.

7. Tara Fuller

Author of Kissed by Death Series.

I was very lucky to receive this incredibly awesome book for review from Entangled Publishing called Inbetween. I had never heard of Tara before then but instantly found her on twitter to gush about how much I loved the book. Being one of the first books about Reapers that I had read I just instantly fell in love with the story and the characters and Tara's writing. She is an incredibly talented author and she is so very awesome to talk to as well. I will most definitely be going and reading her other book, Perigee Moon while I am waiting very impatiently for the next Kissed by Death series. I just need it in my hands sooooo bad. I can't wait to read more of Tara's phenomenal stories and she will always be one of those authors that I will read everything they write no matter what it is about.
6. Melissa West

Author of The Taking Series.

All I can say about Melissa is that she is just pure awesomesauce. I heard about Gravity quite a while before the release of it and I was very lucky to get an ARC from Entangled Publishing. Well let me tell you Melissa is one crazy talented author. Having only read and loved one series about Aliens (JLA's Lux Series) I really wanted to try Gravity and it blew me away. It's one of the best series I have ever read... and I've only read one book! I just couldn't believe how much I was sucked into this book and how much I freaking loved it. I love everything about it and I am literally dying to get my hands on book 2, Hover. Melissa is so talented and I know I would just love anything that she writes. I love the chats I have with Melissa on twitter and she is fast becoming one of my all time favourite authors. She is crazy awesome and if you haven't yet picked up Gravity I urge you to do so... right now!

5. Julie Kagawa

I know, I know. Julie's books have been out for aaaagggeeesss but I only read them this year. Having heard so many friends gush about them and then having the awesome Donna from Book Passion for Life buy me the Iron Fey series I finally decided to read them... and what the heck did I wait so long for? Julie's writing is incredible and her world building is of epic proportions. I was totally captured by The Iron Fey series and I just read the whole series one after the other. I couldn't put it down. After completing The Iron Fey series I read The Immortal Rules as soon as it came out and although it is so incredibly different from The Iron Fey I was just blown away by how amazingly talented Julie is. I just love her writing so much and by the end of 2012 I have read 8 of Julie's books (The Iron Fey, including 2 novella's, The Immortal Rules and The Lost Prince) I am totally in love with Julie's writing and am such a massive fan of her writing (even if I did have to fight Ash in the YA Crush Tourney). Julie is a massively talented author and I will be reading all of her upcoming books as soon as they come out.

4. Kelly Hashway

Author of Touch of Death Series.

This year I was lucky enough to become a review for the best publisher ever, Spencer Hill Press, and one of the books they sent me was Touch of Death by Kelly Hashway. Having seen and fell in love with the cover I couldn't wait to read it and ended up reading it in one sitting. I couldn't put it down it was just so epically amazing. Two things I love in books are mythology and zombies... and this book had BOTH. This is the first book I have read to mix both and Kelly did it amazingly. She is such a crazy talented author and I am lucky enough to have been able to talk to her and she even sent me a signed ARC even though I already had an arc from SHP. How awesome is that? It totally made me cry. She is one of the nicest people I think I've ever met and I just love her. I cannot wait to read the rest of her books and Stalked By Death could not come quicker. Touch of Death is due out January so you MUST go get it as soon as it's released. You won't be disappointed.
3. Katie McGarry

Author of Pushing the Limits.

AHH! I love Pushing the Limits so freaking much. Katie McGarry is one epically talented author and her writing style is just crazy addictive. I have already read Pushing the Limits twice this year and I already want to read it again. I love love love it. Katie's writing style just totally grabbed me right from the very start and I couldn't put the book down... both times I read it in one sitting. Katie has Dare You To, Beth's story, coming out in 2013 and I could not be more excited. I loved every character in Pushing the Limits, including Beth so to have any new book from Katie is epically exciting for me. To have one about a character I already love... well I could just bounce off the walls in excitement. I love Katie she is crazy awesome and I love that when I tweet her she replies. I totally go all fan-girl and start squealing. She is crazy awesome and epically talented and I would read any book she wrote...  ever no matter what!

2. Rachel Harris

Author of My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century

Rachel Harris is just amazing. I absolutely adore her and she in so freaking talented. When I heard about My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century I thought it sounded interesting and I really wanted to read it... but I didn't think I would love it. Nothing to do with Rachel just because the book is partly set in the Sixteenth Century Renaissance period. I am just not a historical fan at all. It bores me and I quite frankly hate historical books and that is kind of what I thought this book would be like... I FREAKING LOVED IT! Rachel did the impossible and made me like a book where the majority of it was set in a historical period. I never thought that was possible but she did it! She is so awesome. Her writing is perfect and I just adore her. She is crazy awesome. She has A Tale of Two Centuries, book 2, coming out in 2013 and I am absolutely dying for it. If you've been putting off this book because of it's historical influence seriously just read it because it's epically good and is the historical book for people who don't like historical books. Rachel is to amazingly talented she can make the impossible, possible.

Here we are NUMBER 1.... Have you guessed it yet?

1. Wendy Higgins

Author of Sweet Evil

Did you guess it? I bet you did. I have done nothing but gush about Kaidan... err I mean Sweet Evil for most of the year. I freaking LOVE that book. I picked it up shortly after YA Sisterhood's YA Crush Tourney my amazing friend Tara advocated for Kaidan and after hearing her gush so much I just had to pick it up... I read it in one sitting. It's fair to say that I did not sleep that night as I just could not put it down... at all. Wendy's writing is just epic. Everyone knows Jennifer L Armentrout is my favourite author ever and I had never read anything else that even came close to my love for her books... until I read Sweet Evil. I was just blown away and completely enraptured by it. It's just phenomenal. The Story, the characters, the writing... everything. I can not praise Wendy enough and she is so crazy awesome in how she interacts with her fans so amazingly on twitter, facebook and her blog. Not to mention she writes crazy awesome Kaidan scenes. She knows how much we all love Kai. I love Wendy so much and she is so talented I would just read everything and anything that she writes. She is definitely an author to watch out for in the future and I can totally see her becoming the next JLA (You know coz to me JLA is like the best author EVER). She has two books coming out in 2013, I believe and I cannot wait to get my hands on both of them.  Wendy's YA Contemporary e-book Flirting With Maybe will be out March 5th (EEP) and Sweet Peril (OMG SOOOOO EXCITED!) will be out April 30th. I could not be more excited about both of them and I am counting down the days till I can read more of Wendy's epic work.

Ward Against Death (Chronicles of a Reluctant Necromancer #1)
 by MelanieCard

Twenty-year-old Ward de’Ath expected this to be a simple job—bring a nobleman’s daughter back from the dead for fifteen minutes, let her family say good-bye, and launch his fledgling career as a necromancer. Goddess knows he can’t be a surgeon—the Quayestri already branded him a criminal for trying—so bringing people back from the dead it is. But when Ward wakes the beautiful Celia Carlyle, he gets more than he bargained for. Insistent that she’s been murdered, Celia begs Ward to keep her alive and help her find justice. By the time she drags him out her bedroom window and into the sewers, Ward can’t bring himself to break his damned physician’s Oath and desert her. However, nothing is as it seems—including Celia. One second, she’s treating Ward like sewage, the next she’s kissing him. And for a nobleman’s daughter, she sure has a lot of enemies. If he could just convince his heart to give up on the infuriating beauty, he might get out of this alive…
My Review:
I really liked the idea behind this book and i think the idea behind the story is really original. I really enjoyed the first part of the story, but somewhere along the way my interest in the story lessened.

The book is about a necromancer (something I don't read about that often)who revives someone from the death and decides her help find her murderer. I really was pulled into the story and wanted to know what was going to happen. After a while it just seemed like the character were running in circles and nothing really happened for a while, the characters made some stupid chooses and then the ending was action packed again. I just expected something more, the mystery about her death was easy to solve, but the characters just didn't seem able to figure it out.

The characters were likeable, I especially liked Ward and his naivity and clumsiness. He was a really enjoyable character and I liked him with all his flaws, it made him seem like a real character. I also liked Celia, although she was a bit too much of the stereotype assassin. And some times she really acted like an awesome assassin, but at other times she acted really dumb. Also I think that the characters made some stupid mistakes and I hated the fact that if they only just talked about things, they would've actually solved anything. Also sometimes it was just too much thinking about things and i got confused because of it.

There was enough basis for the world building, but sadly enough the author didn't really focus on it. It was obvious from many prhases that the author did think about the world building, but too little was actually explained and I felt like I missed an important part of the story.

At the end of the book there are still many things that aren't resolved and the ending felt a bit abrupt. You are left quessing what will happen next.

To conclude: the book started out really good and I liked the characters, but eventualy I lost my interest and got annoyed at the stupid descisions the characters made. There was hinted at world building, but there wasn't enough explanation to really get what was going on.

The Book Depository:

As part of this blog tour there will be something special on every day. Today I will chare with you the first part of chapter of this awesome book.
Chapter 1 Part 1
Even in death, Celia Carlyle was beautiful. Sculpted features framed by a pool of blue-black hair gave her an unearthly appearance. Her long eyelashes rested dark against skin that was likely pale before death. Ward gripped his physician’s bag with both hands, but they kept trembling. He could wake her. He had to. He’d spent his last quintaro this morning, and while his room was paid for ten more days, he still needed to eat. And there was no way he was going home to face his family as a failure twice. Sweat dripped from his jaw, and the copper-rimmed spectacles he wore to make him look older than his twenty years slid down his nose. He tugged on his red velvet physician’s jacket and brushed a quick hand along his hairline to ensure his curled and powdered wig was straight. Despite the slight breeze blowing in from the open windows, Brawenal City’s summer nights were too hot for such things, but he had an appearance to maintain and a job to do. He sucked in a quick breath. An important job. One that could establish his fledgling career. If he just focused on the details, turned the situation into an intellectual problem, he might be able to forget her father waited across the hall. He concentrated on the young woman swathed in silk sheets on a monstrous canopy bed. How heartbreaking that someone his age could fall sick and die. Because of her beauty, her death must have been an emotional, political, and possibly financial blow to the family. In his summons, her father, Lord Carlyle, said she had died of a sudden illness. But there was no abnormal discoloration on her cheeks or around her eyes, nor any dried mucus around her lips or nose, which would have suggested an imbalance of her yellow bile. There were so few clues to this fascinating puzzle. Ward set his bag at her feet and reached out to push back an eyelid. No. Stupid.

And book 2 Ward Against Darkness(Chronicles of a Reluctant Necromancer #2) is coming out in June 2013!
The last thing Ward de'Ath wants is more trouble. On the run from both the law and the criminal underworld, Ward and Celia flee Brawenal City only to stumble into the mansion of a powerful evil necromancer. And when Ward discovers the man possesses a dangerous grimoire, his duty leaves him no choice. He can't allow the necromancer to keep the grimoire. But the mansion is filled with monsters--human and undead--and Ward has no way of telling who's friend or foe. The only person he can trust is Celia who dominates more of his thoughts and feelings everyday. But there are still laws in the way of anything but friendship. She's still dead and he's still alive . . . for now.

You can find book 2 on:
Barnes & Noble:
The Book Depository:

Now a bit more about the author, Melanie:
I have always been drawn to storytelling. In fact, I can't remember a time when I wasn't telling a story in my head or on paper. In grade school, we had journal writing time which I turned into story telling time, weaving tales of magic and adventure that mimicked the fairy tales and myths that I loved to read. It was there, with the help of two very special teachers, that I nurtured this love and started my journey as a writer. I write fantasy, paranormal romance, and everything in between, seasoned with a good dash of adventure and mystery. Join me on my tales of magic, adventure, and romance.

Looking forward to 2013

Hey Guys,
So I just wanted to do a quick post before the new year to let everyone know what's going on with K-Books in the next year. I was going to do it tomorrow but I have some posts going up tomorrow so instead you get this one today.

So as some of you know the blog hasn't been extremely active in the past few weeks and we have had some changed. As I posted about a few weeks ago Lolita made her own blog so with no longer be blogging here. I am so happy about the choice as it was just completely right for us. She is one of my closest blogging friends. So the blog is back to being just me.

The main reason for the quietness of the blog in the past few months is because after graduation I went back to University to do my teachers training. It is very manic and much more hectic than I ever thought. I am going to univeristy two days a week and teaching the rest of the week. I have essays to do for university and lessons to plan for my placements so that takes up so much of my time. Because of this the blog will continue to be kinda quiet. I have 6 months of my course left so reading and blogging is unfortunately going to be taking a back-seat. I will still be reading and posting my reviews but reading will be a lot slower that normal as I just don't have a lot of time. Because of this I am only accepting a limited amount of review books and there is no guarantee of a time limit of when I will be able to read them. This is the same for blog tours. I will accept blog tours if I can do a excerpt, interview or guest post but reviews for blog tours will be turned down as I don't have time and having to read books by a certain date is putting a lot of stress on me. Stress that I don't need more of as my course is very stressful and demanding. I hope you will all understand why I am having to do this. Remember it is only 6 months and K-Books should be back to being more lively after May/June. In these 6 months I am mainly going to be reading books I've bought not received for review. If I've already spoken to you about review books etc our agreement still stands and I will be reading those ones but for the majority I'm taking these 6 months to read more of my TBR list. Because I have limited reading time I kind of wanna spend it reading my books.

Because of this any review requests I do receive if I do not accept I am going to pass them on to Lolita to see if she would like to review them on her new blog. She is an excellent reviewer and her new blog is brilliant.

So that's what will be happening in the first half of 2013 and I really hope you guys understand why I won't be posting as much.
Thank you all for following... I love you lots.

Review: Magic Study (Study #2)

Magic Study (Study #2)
Maria V Snyder

Published By: Mira Publishing
Publication Date: May 16, 2008
Date Read: December 17, 2012
Genre: YA - Epic Fantasy
Source: Bought
Format: Paperback
Pages: 419
From Goodreads
You know your life is bad when you miss your days as a poison taster...

With an execution order on her head, Yelena has no choice but to escape to Sitia, the land of her birth. With only a year to master her magic - or face death - Yelena must begin her apprenticeship and travels to the Four Towers of the Magician's Keep.

But nothing in Sitia is familiar. Not the family to whom she is a stranger. Not the unsettling new facets of her magic. Nor the brother who resents her return. As she struggles to understand where she belongs and how to control her rare powers, a rogue magician emerges - and Yelena catches his eye.

Suddenly she is embroiled in battle of good against evil. And once again it will be her magical abilities that will either save her life...or be her downfall.

"No, love. You're the only one who has caused me to do the oddest things. You have truly poisoned me."

W.O.W! I am so in love with this series. I freaking love it. I read the first installment of the Study series, Poison Study, last year and I just fell in love with it. However I just never got around until continuing the series... until now. And I am obsessed all over again. This is the first Epic Fantasy series that I have obsessed over and been unable to put them down it is THAT good.

Yelena has escaped Ixia and from being a Poison Taster and into Sitia. But meeting her family and becoming a Magic Apprentice is harder that Yelena thought. And when faces with a dangerous situation Yelena must decide between doing it her way or asking for help. Will Yelena be able to survive the unknown world of Magic or is she destined to fail?

I love love love this book. Maria V Snyder has to be one of the most talented authors I have come across... she is amazing. Her writing style is so addictive it totally captures you right from the start and totally leaves you hanging begging for more. I am totally obsessed with this series and cannot wait to read more.

Yelena has to be one of the best heroine's in YA fantasy of all time. She is strong, kick-ass and not afraid to put herself into harm's way as long as she is doing the right thing. I think she it without a doubt one of my favourite main female characters. Nothing she does is for an unjust reason and I just love her. She never sits around waiting for someone to save her she gets up and does it herself and I freaking love that about her.

Valek... AHH Valek. I love love love him. He is just so awesome and beautiful and amazing. I really missed Valek in this one and just kept reading going please appear soon... please appear soon. He is in it but not very much and I really missed him but that does not stop this book from being phenomenal.

Maria V Snyder is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. I am not the biggest epic fantasy fan and don't really read a lot of this genre but there is just something about MVS's books that is incredibly addictive and makes it unputdownable for me. She totally changes my mind about the genre and it is down to her that I am going to read more of this genre.

Magic Study was EPIC! I genuinely loved every second for it and I am totally kicking myself for not reading it sooner. I can't wait to read Fire Study and find out how this series finished. MVS is incredible and I can't wait to read more. If you haven't read this series yet I urge you to do so. You will not be disappointed.

"Your life is like this snake's coils. No matter how many turns it makes, you'll end up back where you belong. With me."

I know it will be just EPIC! I am so excited and although it is 11 months away *cries* I am already counting down till then.
Release Date: November 2013

2. Obsession (Lux #3.5) and Origin (Lux #4) by Jennifer L Armentrout

Yeah I know another one with no cover... and I'm cheating again but they are both in the same series so it's totally fine... right?
Opal was one of the best book I have ever read and the ending was just evil! I neeeedddd Origin right now to find out what happens to my beloved Daemon... oh yeah... and Katy too. I added Obsession in here as it's a Adult novel set in the same world as Lux and to me it's part of the series and it should lessen the wait for Origin... hopefully? I can't wait for anything by JLA but ESPECIALLY these ones.
Release Dates:-
Book 3.5 - Obsession: March 2013
Book 4 - Origin: July 2013

1. Apollyon (Covenant #4) and Sentinel (Covenant #5) by Jennifer L Armentrout

You know it right? You had to have known that it would be Apollyon at number one right? Covenant is the best series I've ever EVER read in my life and I am dying for Apollyon so much and a little birdy told me that the last book in the series Sentinel will also be released in 2013 so we get both books. YAAAAYYY! and "NOOOOOOO" I am so happy yet so sad by this. Happy because OMG I need these books so freaking much like I need to read this like right now but then Covenant will be over and my mind just doesn't know how the hell to handle that! I can't even imagine a world with no more Alex and Aiden to read about. I may just go into a fit of depression and cry for months because I just need this series to go on... FOREVER but at the same time I need to see how it will end! I love this series and Apollyon and Sentinel need to be in my hands... RIGHT NOW!!!
Release Date:-
Book 4 - Apollyon: April 9, 2013
Book 5 - Sentinel: December 2013

Top 10 of 2012... Best Book Boyfriends of 2012

Hey Guys,
So it's day 4 of the Top 10 of 2012 and today it's out Top 10 Boyfriends of 2012...
This list is so freaking difficult for me because I am like completely in love with at least one guys in every single book I read... and I've read 130 books this year... so that's 130 boys and I have to narrow it down to 10?!?!
That is freaking impossible but anyway here is my countdown of my Top 10 Book Boyfriends

10. Chad from Tempting the Player (Gamble Brothers #2) by J. Lynn

Yes... yes... yes! A JLA boy. This time from JLA's incredibly steamy adult contemporary Gamble Brothers series. We met Chad briefly in last years 'Tempting the Best Man' and then we got his story this year and Oh. My. God! I am totally in love. He is so freaking HAWT! I love love love him. He is so freaking sweet as well. I just fell totally in love with him.

9. Ash from The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten #1) by Julie Kagawa

I know, I know I'm totally cheating here. The Lost Prince isn't Ash's story but he IS in it. AND I only read The Iron Fey series this year and fell head-over-heels in love with Ash and I needed a book with him in that was released this year... hence The Lost Prince.
Ash is just so swoon-worthy and amazing there's no words to describe him. He is just pretty perfect in every way. I fell head-over-heels in love with him and he will always be one of my Top Book Boyfriends.

 8. Jackson from Gravity (The Taking #1) by Melissa West

Well... who can resist a swoon-worthy hot alien? I sure can't and that is exactly what Jackson is. I freaking love him. I adored Gravity (obviously it's been in every one of my lists so far) and Jackson is a big big part of why. I just love love love him and I am dying to get Hover in my hands to read more Jackson. He is hot, protective and uber swoon-worthy... even if he does run hot and cold all the way through the book. It's just what makes you love him more.

7. Hayden from Cursed by Jennifer L Armentrout

Yes this was the year we finally got Cursed and I love love love this book and Hayden... *insert dreamy sigh here*. He is just mysterious and beautiful and sweet and just utterly perfect.... Yeah... Just like every other JLA boy. JLA's boys are just the best and Hayden's no different. He is just amazing and I just want to keep him!

6. Chase from The One (Portal Series #1) by Heather Self

Ah... Chase... cheeky Chase. I just fell head over heels for him. He reminded my a little of Daemon from JLA's Lux Series (Oh YES! I did just say that). He is cheeky and snarky and man I just can't resist a snarky boy. I love him. He is just perfect in every way to me and I just can't get enough of Chase. I love both boys in this series but Chase just has something more. I love love love him and would like to keep him. So Heather if he's not winning in this Love Triangle feel free to write me in and I'll take Chase off your hands ;)

5. Noah from Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits #1) by Katie McGarry

Oh Noah, Noah, Noah! I just fell totally in love with Noah. He is the typical bad boy and let's face it... who can resist a bad boy? I just love him and I've already read this book twice... I just cannot get enough of Noah and I just need to read this book again. I love him so much he's the perfect guy... in a dysfunctional kind of way.

4. Wolf from Eden-West (Eden #2) by Janelle Stalder

Oh. My. God! WOLF! I mean I loved Wolf in book 1 but the more I read the more I fall in love with Wolf. He is just perfect in the womanizing bad boy kind of way but we definitely see a glimpse of the softer side of Wolf.
I have to say he is just so possessive in a totally hot, good way. Wolf totally melted my insides into goo in Eden-West... if you haven't read this series you have to just for Wolf.

 3. Kaidan from Sweet Evil (Evil Trilogy #1) by Wendy Higgins

AHH Kaidan... Kai is just perfect and hot... and a total bad boy... and did I mention hot? And he's a musician! *melts*
Right from the very start I just fell head-over-heels in lust... err I mean Love with Kaidan. He is just perfect and awesome and total bad boy and who can resist that? He is just *droooool*

2. Daemon from Opal (Lux #3) by Jennifer L Armentrout

Now do I really need to explain why Daemon is on my Top 10 book boyfriends list? He is just perfect and HAWT! And Snarky and I just love everything about him.
We saw the snarky, ass Daemon in Obsidian and even though he acted like a total dick I still loved him. As soon as he opened the door shirtless with those green eyes I was totally sold! I love him... and then in Onyx and Opal we saw the softer sides of Daemon and he just became even better in my eyes. I'm just totally in love with him and he'll always be one of my top book boyfriends. He is awesome and perfect!

1. Aiden from Deity (Covenant #3) by Jennifer L Armentrout

You guys know that already though didn't you? I don't really think this is any surprise to anyone as everyone I have ever spoke to knows Jennifer L Armentrout is my favourite author of all time and Covenant is my favourite series. I have read it at least seven times as I just adore it so much.
Aiden to me is the perfect guy... he is so perfect there is no way he could ever be real (unfortunately). I just love him. He is sweet and protective and would hurt himself as long as his family and the people he loves is safe. He is just *dreamy sigh* I just love everything about him and he is just mine. He leaves my insides turned to goo at a puddle by my feet. I just love love love him. He is perfect!

So there you go guys. That is my Top 10 Book Boyfriends of 2012. Is there anyone I missed? Leave me a comment and let me know.
