From Goodreads:
Southpointe High is the last place Lucy wanted to wind up her senior year of school. Right up until she stumbles into Jude Ryder, a guy whose name has become its own verb, and synonymous with trouble. He's got a rap sheet that runs longer than a senior thesis, has had his name sighed, shouted, and cursed by more women than Lucy dares to ask, and lives at the local boys home where disturbed seems to be the status quo for the residents. Lucy had a stable at best, quirky at worst, upbringing. She lives for wearing the satin down on her ballet shoes, has her sights set on Juilliard, and has been careful to keep trouble out of her life. Up until now.

Jude's everything she needs to stay away from if she wants to separate her past from her future. Staying away, she's about to find out, is the only thing she's incapable of.

For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love's about to become the thing that tears them apart.

"You can't be friends with the person you were meant to spend your life with."

Oh. My. God! First off let me just say a massive thank you to Momo from Books Over Boys for asking me to be a part of this blog tour as without her I would never have heard about this book. I didn't really know what to expect from this book. I went into it completely blind only knowing that it was a New Adult Contemporary book and I was completely sucked in right from the start and I am now left wondering why on earth I left it this long before starting this book.

Lucy is the typical good girl. Gone from elite private school to Southpointe public school all she can think about it graduating and getting accepted into Juilliard. But then she sets eyes on Jude. Incredibly hot and mysterious Jude is everything Lucy should stay away from... yet everything she wants. Jude is one-night-stand material, he doesn't so relationships but he is taken with Lucy. Will they be able to put everything else aside and be together or is their two different worlds just meant to stay apart? Will Lucy and Jude be able to make it through the devastation that ensues when two very different worlds suddenly collide?

I adored this book. I read it in one sitting I just could not put it down. I was completely sucked into this world from the first chapter and couldn't put it down... Okay, Okay... I met Jude in the first chapter and couldn't put it down. But he's just so yummy why would you want to? Nicole is such a fantastic author and she really pulled me in right from the start and had me so emotionally invested in these characters I was stressing out so much just at the thought of something happening to them. I just couldn't bare the thought of things not working out and refused to put the book down until I got to the end.

Jude... Oh Jude, Jude, Jude. Why can't you be real? I know he's a super bad boy but who doesn't love a bad boy? I fell head over heels for this boy. He has been through so much in his past and I just really wanted to jump in the book and give him a big hug... okay more than a hug but he is just so damn delicious. I am head over heels in love with him.

Lucy... Oh where do we start with Lucy. I really like her but at the same time she annoys me too. Lucy is a great strong character and I loved seeing her journey throughout the book. From going from the typical good girl to knowing that Jude is no good for her yet the heard wants what it wants and I loved going through this personal turmoil with her and seeing her using these experiences and growing as a character because of that. BUT... *sigh* she annoyed me so damn much throughout this book. I feel like she was kind of selfish and it was always "Jude hurt me" "My feelings" for a big portion of the book it was never about Jude and what he was going through and how it impacted him! I really didn't like that about her. Another thing I didn't like about her is that she is VERY judgemental. When she hears a rumour instead of talking about it with Jude she jumps to conclusions believes the rumours and shit happens because of that. I just wanted to slap her and tell her to open her eyes and just have a damn conversation girl! Other than that though I really liked her and I loved the character she had become by the end of the book.

I truly believe this is a fantastic contemporary novel and it is without a doubt the best indie contemporary I have ever read. It completely hooked me in right from the start and I am so sad now that I have finished Crash. I am not entirely sure that I will go on to read book 2 Clash or not as I adored the ending of Crash so much it was perfect to me and I don't know if I want more bad things to happen. I'm not sure my heart could take it so it is undecided whether I'll read book 2. But overall this book is phenomenal and for any Contemp fans it's a must-read. Do not miss this one.

"That's what I answer when a girl I'm falling hard for, the only girl I've fallen hard for, wants to be in a relationship with someone like me."

Clash is an even more crazy roller coaster ride and I think that if you didn't read it, you'll be fine, hahaha! Crash does have a pretttty sweet ending and I mean, Clash does too but I totally know what you mean! But if you do read it, lemme know! <333
